What's the dress code?
Answer
Spring semi-formal. As the celebration takes place outdoors in the desert (warm and sunny during the day, cool and breezy at night), we recommend footwear and fabrics suited to a natural, outdoor setting. We will have an area to store backup footwear if you'd like to bring some.

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?
Answer
Our ceremony, cocktail hour, and dinner will be outdoors. The desert is pretty warm during the day (we'd recommend sunscreen), but will cool down at night. We will have space heaters, but advise those who get chilly easily to bring a sweater/shawl. Additionally, there will be walking on uneven outdoor ground - the ceremony/dinner ground will be on dry desert soil that is sandy/gravely. Heels won’t sink since it’s hard/dry but still may be something to consider - and they will get dusty. Cocktail hour will be on concrete and dancing inside on hard floor.

How do I get to/from the wedding venue?
Answer
There will be ample parking on the Wamego/Mira side of the property - this is also where you can enter without a car. We will have car service available at the end of the night from 9:30pm-12:30am that can do dropoffs within 10-15 minutes of the venue for those who didn’t drive there, had their group leave, or would prefer to leave their car overnight to be on the safe side. Uber can be unreliable in the desert! Please arrange transportation to the ceremony or feel free to bring your car and pick it up the next day.

Our wedding will be an adults-only celebration. We appreciate you making arrangements and celebrating with us!

How early can I arrive to the venue?
Answer
Guests are welcome to arrive starting at 4:00 PM - grab a lemonade, find your seat, and soak it all in before the ceremony begins.

Can I bring a plus one?
Answer
If your invitation/RSVP includes a plus one, it will be noted on your invite. Thanks for your understanding!

What should I bring to the pool party?
Answer
A swimsuit and a towel. Don't forget sunscreen!
