We met on an HEFY (humanitarian) trip to Kenya. We became best friends in those three weeks and committed to doing long distance before going home!
After our Kenyan adventure, we did long distance all through senior year of high school. We visited each other every couple months, celebrating birthdays, proms, and eventually Davis' mission farewell. Sienna went to BYU for a semester before leaving on her mission to Chile. We both returned home in the summer of 2024 and began attending BYU together, finally living in the same city!!
To make the engagement as special as possible, I invited the Morrills and my parents to come out for Sienna's 21st birthday as a surprise. The following day, I picked her up for a birthday date where we filmed a video retelling our entire love story. After that, we drove up the Provo Canyon and walked to a spot near the creek where I asked Sienna to marry me!
We will be moving into an apartment close to BYU campus to continue our studies and work! Davis is studying civil engineering and Sienna is continuing her search for a dream career.
