Hawker's Asian Street Food
Hawker's is one of our favorite restaurants. We'd recommend it if you want to visit South End in Charlotte! They have really good Asian street food. Davis's favorite food there is the curry duck noodles, and Neena's is the curry laksa ramen.
Thai House- Lake Norman
"I made Davis try Thai food for one of our first dates. He'd never had anything of the sort before and now Thai red curry is one of his favorite foods. Thai House has been a favorite of mine since childhood. They have four locations around Charlotte. I'm pretty sure the owner of our closest one knows our orders by heart. Is that bad?" -Neena
Birkdale Village
Birkdale Village has a lot of places to eat and drink. "I really like Kung Foo Noodle and Bad Daddy's Burger. There's a movie theatre there and a lot of shopping opportunities. It's also just a nice place to walk around and hang out. It's grown a lot in the last four years." -Davis
Gibson Mill
Gibson Mill is a large antique mall as well as a food hall. "It's the largest antique mall in the South. Since it's so big, I like that there's a ton of weird and forgotten pieces of history, like tools, old radios, etc. There's fun stuff to look at and buy." -Davis "I really enjoy looking at things that other people used to own and cherish. Even if you buy nothing, it's really interesting." -Neena
Spare Time Bowling- Huntersville
"Our first date was at a bowling alley. I demolished Davis. I'm not sure the same could be said anymore. There's also a small arcade. Davis sometimes has to drag me away from the Pearl Fishery arcade machine." -Neena "Obviously there's bowling, but it's got a nice bar and a little arcade. It's fun!" -Davis
