It was a beautiful Spring day in April, 2012. Davis and Megan had spoken to each other briefly prior to this night, but couldn't wait to get to know each other more over dinner. Davis picked Megan up from her North Beach apartment and they drove around the city for a while admiring the beautiful architecture and landscapes that San Francisco has to offer. After about 30 minutes of getting lost in conversation, we figured we should stop wasting gas and decide on our plans for the evening. Davis suggested that we go to Pier 39 and walk around and grab dinner. It wasn't long into the evening that we could tell we really liked each other... when you know, you just know! After dinner we decided to head up to Twin Peaks to look at the city lights. While gazing at the stars we talked about our goals, dreams, friends and families. Not long after, a shooting star flashed across the night sky! Davis grabbed Megan's hand and told her to close her eyes and make a wish. It's pretty safe to say that both of our wishes came true that night. And the rest is history....

We had been enjoying an amazing vacation in Hawaii filled with sunshine, waves, adventure and fun! That morning we had gone on a private catamaran yacht excursion that Davis had planned for Megan's birthday. It was a truly unforgettable day from snorkeling in Ko'Olina bay to seeing humpback whales, turtles and dolphins. After an amazing morning, we ventured over to the town of Haleiwa, located in the North Shore of Hawaii. Here, we checked into our second and final AirBnb of our trip. It was a gorgeous bungalow that sat directly on the ocean. We were sitting outside admiring the beautiful view we were lucky enough to call "home" for the next few days when Davis professed his love to Megan and got down on one knee to ask her for her hand in marriage. Megan obviously said YES! Also.... FINALLY
