Welcome!

*COVID 19*

We have been working with our planner and vendors to ensure that we will be following the most current CDC guidelines during the wedding weekend. Your health and safety are of upmost importance to us and we are confident that we will have a safe environment for everyone. We will continue to monitor the guidelines and provide updates here as we get closer! Please check the FAQ regarding travel/COVID plans. If you feel uncomfortable traveling at the moment, there will still be a way to watch the virtual ceremony from the comfort of your home! We hope you can join us one way or another! If you have any further questions, please reach out to our wedding planner: Sarah Rickman • sarah@andersoneventdesign.com • 843-408-5963

About Us

9 • 7 • 12

We are both from Hickory, NC, so we've known each other for 15+ years now. Our younger brothers were best friends, our dads coached baseball together for years, and our families have always been close. Growing up, we spent most of our weekends during the spring and summer on the baseball field - Davis was usually playing, and I was usually watching either Paxton's or Davis's games. It wasn't until I went off to college eight years ago that we realized we were much more than just family friends and we decided to make it official!

The Proposal

12 • 21 • 19

Over the Holidays, Davis asked if I wanted to go to our favorite winery with his parents for a tasting because we hadn't been in a while. I didn't think anything of it because my parents were ~supposedly~ away in Asheville that weekend celebrating their anniversary. When we got to Raffaldini, his parents were late, but they told us to go ahead and start without them. During the tasting, we went out to look at the different vines and there was a picnic blanket out in the vineyard with flowers, chocolates, wine and a basket full of other treats. After Davis proposed, we enjoyed our picnic in the vineyard for a couple hours, and then we made our way back home to Hickory. Come to find out, Davis had planned a surprise dinner/gathering at one of our favorite restaurants with both of our families and closest friends.

The Big Day

Charleston is a special place for both of us, and we are so excited to have everyone here. I lived in Charleston the summer after graduating college and fell in love with the historic city instantly. Davis currently goes to medical school at MUSC, and we are now, finally, both living in the same town for the first time since college. We cannot wait to celebrate with all of you in February. See you in Chucktown!
