Salt & Straw
Salt & Straw is a Pacific Northwest ice-creamery that takes a passionate and fun approach to bringing people together around ice cream. There are several locations in the greater Portland area that all participate in a four-week rotation of new and interesting flavors. These flavors come from Michelin kitchens, food scientists, and even elementary schools, so buckle up your taste buds for a wild and orally-stimulating ride.
Bushwhackers
Here is where Davis and Frankie's story began: two paths, twirling and stomping nearer and nearer. This bar is one of the premier, line-dancing bars on the West Coast and a great place to watch, learn, or let loose. You can catch the bride and groom there almost every Friday night :)
Little Conejo Vancouver
Little Conejo is the sweet little restaurant where Davis and Frankie went on their first date. It wasn't called a "date", but they both felt like it was. This restaurant has good tortas and is one of the only places in town that serves Squirt hecho en México, one of Davis and Frankie's favorite sodas.
Historic Columbia River Highway
This beautiful and historic highway follows the range of hills and mountains surrounding the Columbia River. It boasts amazing views of the river, trees, and far-off mountains as well as the numerous roaring waterfalls that tumble into the Columbia River. It is a great excursion for a free afternoon to get outside and enjoy God's incredible creation.
Hood River Fruit Loop
Want to see, smell, and taste the best of the Pacific Northwest? Then, this is for you! Tour the local farms, orchards, U-picks, wineries, flower shops, and farmer markets for the produce of Oregon. Pack up the whole family because it's an all-day excursion and want the extra hands–and maybe a DD ;)
George Fox University
George Fox University is a special place in the hearts of the bride and groom. It is a big part of the story that God wrote to bring them together. This is where Davis pulled all-nighters to do homework. This is where Frankie finished her assignments ahead of time. This is where the bride and groom each experienced the transformative journey that brought them to where they are now. If you have a chance to visit, please do! It is a gorgeous campus to walk around and enjoy. And maybe...see if you can get access into the Maker Hub where Davis and Frankie met for the very first time on July 24, 2022.
