FAQs

The Wedding Website of Crystal Rosenbaum and Davis Hudson
Question

Can I Take Photos/Videos During The Ceremony?

Answer

We have hired an amazing photographer named Viola and she will be there to capture all the moments of the ceremony! We do kindly ask that phones be put away during the ceremony portion. Feel free to take as many photos/videos once the ceremony has ended.

Question

Where Should I Stay?

Answer

First off, thank you so much for traveling the distance to celebrate with us! We have provided everyone with an option to use our hotel block at Hotel Sylva in downtown Sylva for the weekend. This will be located under the travel tab with a link provided to the hotel's website to book your stay.

Question

Is The Venue Indoor or Outdoor?

Answer

The ceremony will be held outside with a mountain view. The ceremony site requires a 5-10 minute walk either up a trail or up a gravel driveway. If you need assistance with getting to the ceremony site please let us know in advance. The cocktail hour and reception will be held on the event lawn by the main house. The area will be tented with heaters. However there are several indoor locations you can use to escape the elements, if needed.

Question

What Is The Dress Code?

Answer

Our dress code is garden formal. We invite you to dress to the nines to help us celebrate our marriage! Please wear formal attire in fall colors and/or fun patterns. Long dresses or skirts, suits and ties, and dressy separates are preferred. Do no wear jeans and do not wear white (including patterns on white bases). The ceremony will be on the mountain overlook that requires a short walk on a trail. The reception will be held on the event lawn. Tall heels and unstable shoes would not be recommended.

Question

When Should I Arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will be starting at 3:30pm. To avoid being late and missing anything we recommend arriving by 3:00pm, to ensure you have enough time to use the bathroom (if needed), make your way up to the ceremony site, and find your seat before the ceremony starts.

Question

When Should I RSVP?

Answer

You can RSVP as soon as you'd like! Please make sure to RSVP "yes" or "no" by March 1st, 2026. This allows us to give our vendors a correct count prior to the wedding.

Question

Can I Bring A Guest/Date?

Answer

Due to limited space at our venue, we are only able to accommodate guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one it will appear under your name when you RSVP through the website. Please be sure to list the name of the guest who will be joining you.

Question

Are Kids Allowed?

Answer

We love your little ones! However, due to the limited space at our venue we have decided to keep our wedding adults only with the exception of the those apart of the wedding party. We encourage you to use this as a date night to get out and have some fun!
