We met through my best friend and Maid of Honor, Jasmine Knight. The very first day I met Jasmine, it was both our first days at The Cecilian Bank. She kept talking about her fiancé Isaac Knight and turns out I knew Isaac from school. The very next day Jasmine comes to work and says, "I talked to Isaac about you last night and he says he remembers you. He knows this guy he thinks you'd be good for. They work together. His name is Davis. Can I have your number to give to him?" I though oh gosh but I went for it. It took me weeks to even go out with him. And of course I made Jasmine and Isaac go cause I was so nervous. We went to Texas Roadhouse and hit it off. Here we are few years later getting married. Im so thankful I started working at The Cecilian Bank, cause I met my Best Friend and my amazing Fiancé.

In September of 2019, we went on a family vacation with my parents. We piled on our cars and drove down to Panama City Beach, Florida. Little did I know Davis had the ring box in his gym shorts for most of the drive down there. Somewhere along the way my mom notices and took it from him. That just goes to show how much I pay attention. We arrived Sunday evening for a week long of relaxation. Thursday evening we were getting ready for dinner. I wanted to take a picture by the ocean. My mom recommended driving down to the pier for it, even though our condo was on the beach. I should have known something was up. We talk down to the beach by the pier and I say "this is a good spot." Davis says, "no go down by the water more." I stood there and said no this is good. He says, "go down there more'" and points toward the water. So I turn around and start walking, and as I do he says, "how about right here?" I turn around and he is on one knee. Of course, I immediately started crying. I don't even remember what he said to me. Luckily my mom caught it all on video. It's a night I'll never forget.
