Started in 1951 by Lon and Annie Loveless, their homemade Southern dishes became very popular. Today it is Nashville landmark that sees about half a million visitors a year. They make over 10,000 biscuits a day!
You need to be quite savvy to snag a table at the Bluebird. But if you are lucky enough to get one, go for it. It's a classic Nashville experience. Check their website for details on securing a reservation.
A newer tradition in Nashville over the last 10 years. The chicken is served at various spice levels. The spiciest version of the hot chicken has been described as having severe spiciness and is prepared using ghost peppers. We Dare you!
