FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

RSVPs are due Oct. 1, 2024 but sooner is appreciated!

Question

What time zone is Evansville located in?

Answer

Unlike the rest of Indiana, Evansville is actually on Central time! Please keep this in mind that you do NOT need to add an hour to your transit time. All times listed on invitations and website are in Central time.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Our wish for the overall atmosphere of our wedding is cocktail attire, but your presence is what matters most to us!

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 2:00 pm, but will not be open to guests until 1:30 pm. Please target arrival time between 1:30-1:55 pm

Question

How long will the ceremony be?

Answer

We are electing to forego a full mass, and the ceremony should take around 30 minutes.

Question

Why is there a gap between the ceremony and cocktail hour?

Answer

Our church policy is to start ceremonies no later than 2:00 pm. We recommend guests use this gap to check in to their hotel/freshen up as needed. There are also several downtown bars within a short distance of both the hotels and reception venue :)

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

We have plenty of parking at the ceremony. There is no on site parking available at the reception. Street parking is available on Vine Street, NW 4th Street, and NW 5th Street. We recommend using the lot located on 5th and Sycamore Streets.

Question

Is there Transportation Provided?

Answer

We will not have any shuttles, but please note that Evansville has reliable Uber service!

Question

How far apart is the reception from the ceremony and hotels?

Answer

Our church is located 15 min away from our reception/hotels. Suggested hotels are both located 5 min drive from the reception.

Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

Due to limited numbers, we hope you understand that our wedding will be kid free besides those participating in the wedding. We encourage you to use this as a date night!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If a plus one is specified on your invitation and RSVP form, you are welcome to bring a date!

Question

Is there a convenient way to travel to Evansville?

Answer

Nope! We sincerely appreciate each and every one of our friends and family who are making the trek down to celebrate with us!

For all the days along the way
