Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

May 18th, 2025

Question

What happens if I do not RSVP in time?

Answer

If we do not receive an RSVP from you by May 18th, 2025, you will sadly be marked as a "No". We will miss you during our celebration, however we must provide our official headcount to our vendors in a timely manner, making us unable to accept late RSVPs. We appreciate your cooperation and timeliness in RSVPing to our wedding!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We are so excited to celebrate our love with our nearest and dearest! As we have a strict guest list to stay within our venue's capacity, we are only able to accommodate those listed on your specific invitation.

Question

Am I able to bring my kids?

Answer

While we absolutely adore your kiddos, we are only able to accommodate the guests listed on your specific invitation.

Question

Can we take our own pictures and videos throughout the day?

Answer

During our ceremony we ask that you please refrain from taking pictures and videos as we want everyone to be present in the moment and not watching our ceremony from behind their screens. We have a wonderful photography and videography team that are documenting all the special moments from our day and we will be happy to share those with you following our wedding. Please feel free to take as many pictures and videos as you would like during our reception and please share them with us! We want to wake up the next morning to our phones flooded with behind the scenes & candid photos and videos from your point of view so we can reflect on just how awesome our reception was!

Question

Will the wedding be outside?

Answer

Yes! New England summers are hard to predict but we are planning on an outdoor ceremony and cocktail hour with an indoor reception! Our wedding is on the first day of summer, so please dress accordingly. In the event of inclement weather, we will institute our Plan B and move our ceremony indoors!

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

We want everyone to feel beautiful and confident, so we are requesting cocktail attire for all our guests. Click on the following link to view a Pinterest Board we created to give you some outfit inspiration: https://pin.it/5p2Gun1u4

Question

What time should I arrive at the venue for the ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony will start promptly at 4:00pm. Anyone not in a seat before 3:50pm will be asked to stand in the back to ensure that everyone, including our photographers and videographers, have a perfect view of our ceremony. Thank you for being so timely!

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! Please drink responsibly and make sure you have coordinated a safe way to get home! While we want everyone to have a good time, poor behavior will not be tolerated and you will be asked to leave.

Question

Is there parking available at the venue?

Answer

Yes! Free parking is available to all guests in attendance.

Question

Is there transportation available to and from the venue?

Answer

Yes! For those that are staying with us at The Simsbury Inn, there will be a shuttle to and from our wedding venue!

Question

If I am not planning on staying at The Simsbury Inn in your designated room block, are there other hotels in the area I can stay at?
