Hunter and Ashley’s story began in a simple, unexpected way—two people who crossed paths and quickly realized something felt different. What started as a casual first date at a Mexican restaurant turned into hours of laughter, easy conversation, and the kind of connection you don’t come across every day. Over the next few months, that connection only grew stronger. Whether it was cooking together, traveling to new places, or spending cozy nights at home with their dog; Bella and cats; Leia and Mocha. They found joy in the little things and quickly became inseparable. Nearly two years later, Hunter planned the perfect surprise. At sunrise on top of Haleakalā in Maui, above the clouds, he got down on one knee and asked Ashley to spend forever with him—and of course, she said yes. Since then, they’ve been building a life they love. They recently bought their first home together and are so excited to fill it with memories shared with family and friends. Ashley is finishing up radiography school, while Hunter works hard surveying. Through every busy season and milestone, they continue to support each other and grow stronger together. They can’t wait to celebrate this next chapter surrounded by the people who mean the most to them—and this is only the beginning.
