Forever & Ever & Always

Danny and I first met through Danny's youngest sister, Chelsea. She and I started hair school together. We instantly had many things in common and became the best of friends. We were always hanging out and doing everything together. So the night I met Danny wasn't anything different. As always I was hanging out Chelsea, so we went to their mother's house to meet her brother. Unfortunately at the time I was not single so we remained friends, good friends even though he didn’t live in Kansas City. That lasted for a few years. Every time he was in town Chelsea, our friends and I would get together. When we would hang out we would just click but I didn’t know what that meant. I some how had a hunch he was always interested in me. At some point I became single and I was now available to him. So he started to make his move like boys do. Strongly in many ways but it worked! One Fourth of July weekend, he was visiting from Atlanta. This was the first time ever we were both single in the same place. He tried, and Tried to get my attention. We flirted but I ultimately knew we couldn't make moves because Chelsea was in the mix. Although I was hesitant, he begged and pleaded to kiss me. I said No. He continued to try multiple times. Finally he got his way. A little liquor does that some times. I was taken back. Wow he's a great kisser. That was it, he left his mark. Unfortunately He had to go back to Atlanta so we just remained as friends. Now the holidays were coming around and we got to chatting about plans. I basically told him come for New Years so he can see me and his family. That's when everything began. We clicked and this time much different. At first we knew it would be hard for multiple reasons. The distance for one but also his sister being my best friend. We chose to go through it either way and planned our first date(s) in Atlanta. I flew out there and had the best , craziest, most romantic time of my life. By the end he asked me to be his girlfriend. Thought this was the best YES of my life but who knew it would be so much more. Although it was hard with the distance and my best friend not as happy at first, we succeeded. After 11 months of dating I moved to Atlanta to be with him. It was the best thing we ever chose and that's each other. We have now bought our first home and got engaged on Fourth of July weekend, when our love story began. You know, They always say the BESTEST FRIENDS make the BEST LOVERS!! We are looking forward to cherishing our future memories with all of our Family and Friends. Our Love wouldnt be the same without you!!
