Are kids invited?

Answer

As much as we adore your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only celebration—except for our beloved nieces and nephews. Please refer to your invitation for the names of those included.

Only invited guests will be allowed to attend. Please check your invitation for names of invitees.

Do you have accommodation recommendations?

Answer

Room block rates in the Hudson area are substantially higher than public rates, so to keep costs reasonable for our guests, we have opted not to secure a block. You’ll find the best prices by booking rooms individually. - The Wick, Hudson - St. Charles Hotel - Rivertown Lodge - Hudson Whaler - Hudson Mariner - The Howard Hotel - Thyme in the Country Cottages *links for all hotels are under the accommodations tab Hudson and Philmont also offer plenty of Airbnb and Vrbo rentals. Please book hotel rooms/rentals early, as weekends fill very quickly in the area.

What time should I arrive before the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will start promptly at 4:30 PM. Please arrive at the venue by 4:00 PM, and enjoy a welcome drink before finding a seat.

When do I need to RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP as soon as possible so we can continue finalizing our wedding plans. Kindly submit your response by June 1, 2026. If we do not receive your RSVP by this date, we will assume you are unable to attend and will not include you in our final guest count.

Is the wedding outside?

Answer

Our ceremony and reception will take place outdoors. The ceremony will be held on the lawn beneath the shade of the trees overlooking the water. The reception will follow on the deck under a tent, with dancing inside the barroom. Cocktail hour will be held indoors.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Our July wedding will take place outdoors in shaded areas. We ask guests to dress in formal attire appropriate for warm weather. Suits (ties optional) and formal dresses are perfect. We kindly ask that guests avoid casual or daytime attire such as sundresses, jeans, or khaki pants.

Will there be transportation provided?

Answer

Because our guests will be staying in a variety of locations throughout the Hudson Valley, we will not be providing shuttle transportation to and from the venue. We recommend arranging your own transportation in advance to ensure a smooth and stress-free evening. Hotels in the Hudson area are approximately 20 minutes from the venue, so please plan accordingly. Our venue recommends the following local car services.
