When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP through our website by May 7th. If you do not RSVP in time we will assume that you are unable to attend.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Festive Semi-Formal. This is a Lord of the Rings-inspired wedding so feel free to let the theme inspire your outfit. It is still semi-formal so cosplay is not encouraged. Earth tones and Cottagecore vibes are encouraged. Please no jeans/denim & avoid shades of white.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

In order to allow all guests, including parents, an evening of relaxation we have decided that our wedding day will be an adult only occasion. We hope this advanced notice means you are able to share in our big day and will enjoy having the evening off!

Can I bring a date?

Answer

When you receive your invitation, if it is addressed "Your name & Guest" then yes, you may bring a plus one. Otherwise, only those addressed on the invitation are invited.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 11:00 AM, so please arrive early enough to find a seat and socialize before the ceremony begins. We suggest arriving at 10:30 AM.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes! The bride has celiac disease and is allergic to nuts so most of what is being offered will be gluten free and nut free. If you have a different dietary restriction or allergy, you will be able to let us know when you RSVP.

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Indoors! The ceremony and reception will be held indoors with proper temperature control. We do suggest bringing something to keep you warm just in case!

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

We will have a beer & wine bar with a specialty cocktail for everyone to enjoy.

Answer

Yes, you can find our registries all linked on our website under the ‘Registry’ tab above.

Can I bring a gift to the wedding?

Answer

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for! If you would like to honor us with a gift, we would prefer that it be delivered to our home but a wedding card box and gift table will be available at our reception.

Can I take photos and post them online?

Answer

To protect the sanctity of the ceremony, we ask that you silence and put away your phones so that you can be there in the moment with us. As for the reception, we encourage it! Be sure to use our wedding hashtag, #FellowshipOfTheOstmans

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, there will be plenty of parking at both venues for our guests.

How do I get access to the reception venue?

Answer

You should enter through the main entrance off Route 59 between Miller Rd. and Kelsey Rd. Please note that if you enter the address into the navigation device it may take you to an alternate entrance. Once you arrive at the gate, you will be directed to park at Special Event Parking (The Lodge at the Shores) or Marina Parking (Rooftop).
