FAQs

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Please keep it as formal as possible. We understand it's August, and it's going to be hot, but please don't wear jean shorts, crop tops, or flip flops. Men, shorts are fine as long as they are as formal as possible. PLEASE DO NOT WEAR WEDDING PARTY COLORS UNLESS YOU ARE IN THE WEDDING (any shades of purple or green, as the immediate family will also be wearing shades of green and purple, and the bride wants them to stand out).

Question

When should we arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will begin PROMPTLY at 4 PM, so please arrive before 3:55 and make your way over to the ceremony area.

Question

Where should I park?

Answer

Please park in the back of the house on Windsor Ave. There will be signs and sections blocked off on the grass. DO NOT PARK IN THE FRONT OF THE HOUSE. Only vendors and the wedding party will be parking in the front near the driveway.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Yes! We are registered at Target. You can find it on this website or on the Target website.

Question

What is the food/drink situation?

Answer

The bride has picked Italian food for her big day: pasta with red sauce, meatballs, sausage with onions and peppers, bread, and more from a local restaurant. Plain pasta and chicken will also be provided for our kiddos and picky eaters. You are more than welcome to bring your own beverages. We will have water, soda, alcoholic seltzers, non alcoholic seltzers, wine coolers, beer, and a few other options, but we will not have an unlimited supply and are not taking requests, so if you have a favorite, you are more than welcome to bring a cooler with your drinks! Please do not bring hard liquor.

Question

How else can I be prepared?

Answer

There is a pool, so bring a swimsuit and a towel if you want to swim. It's going to be August, so drink lots of water and wear SPF. There is also going to be a fire and s’mores later on in the evening, so you are more than welcome to bring a change of clothes to be comfortable in.

Question

Are kids welcome? Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

If your kids are invited, you will know. If your partner is invited, their name will be on the invitation, or there will be a +1 on the back of your invitation.
