Hello everyone - we have decided to officially cancel the wedding celebration/reception for 2021. As you may have heard, we had a small ceremony last August 2020 and got married in Martha's Vineyard. We had hoped to hold a celebratory reception in May, but life finds a way, and we are now expecting a new baby this year--actually very close to our original wedding date! While it is with great disappointment that we have to cancel wedding related plans, we are so happy our family is healthy and growing! We hope to celebrate all the many other life events with you in the future and have deep gratitude for your continual support. Please take care and see you soon! Love, Esther and David www.zola.com/wedding/davidesther2020
Hello everyone! I hope that you are all staying safe and healthy. We decided to do a small ceremony in Martha's Vineyard on August 22, 2020. While we are officially married, we are still planning on having a celebration with you next year. The location will remain the same in Ridgefield, CT. Please look out for an announcement early next year for further updates on travel information and event details as the situation is still very fluid. Thank you for your patience during these times. Take care, Esther and David
Dear Friends and Family, We have made the difficult decision to postpone our wedding due to the coronavirus outbreak. Your health and safety are our top priority! We will keep you updated regarding our wedding details. For guests who have booked with Hotel Zero Degrees, we will contact the hotel directly to cancel all reservations. If you have already contacted them to cancel, you are all set. Love, Esther and David
Esther was in her second year of graduate school at Columbia in 2014 and went to the annual Energy Symposium in a show of support for her friend who was one of the organizers. David was attending the conference as an energy professional, working at Lockheed Martin at the time. After the end of the conference, there was a networking happy hour, which they both went to because free drinks! Esther was chatting with David's friend Jesse, who was showing off pictures of his adorable kids, and David joined their conversation. Esther then made the first move and gave him her business card, and the rest is history! #networkingsuccess :P
