Our Adventure

We were both invited to a game night at a friend's house. Both of us almost did not go because it just wasn't our kind of thing. Emily was there first playing a game called Quelf. The game of Quelf is about having to obey the cards in order to get across the board. The cards are quirky, weird, and basically all dares. In the middle of the game David joined. Both David and Emily thought the same thing, "Dang. They are GOOD LOOKING". They probably wouldn't want to talk to someone like me. Panicked, David took a seat next to Emily. Thinking they did not have a chance with the other they were very silly playing Quelf. Because of the bravery to look stupid and to be theirselves, David and Emily became fast friends They talked everyday and told each other everything.

David had asked Emily to be his girlfriend by asking if she wanted to go on an Adventure with him. He brought colorful balloons attached to a little birdhouse like in the movie UP. That inspired David's proposal. David first took Emily to one of their favorite restaurants. When he walked her back to the car there was a note on it that began a scavenger hunt. Each note was attached to a sunflower (which are Emily's favorite) and the clue would lead Emily to a significant place in their relationship. Eventually all the clues lead back to a park near her house. They had spent many nights there talking when they were just friends. There was the final note attached to a bouquet of sunflowers and balloons. She turned to look at him and he was on one knee asking if she would take all her adventures with him. She said, "YES!"
