Recommended Airport: International Airport - Aeropuerto Internacional José María Córdova (MDE)
Almost all international airports have flights to Medellín. Airlines that service this area include Avianca, American Airlines, Jetblue, United, etc…
Temperature: Medellín temperatures are basically spring/summertime temps all year round, “fall” like temps at night. Where the wedding venue is unfortunately colder as it’s up in the mountains, so pack accordingly, ie jackets + long sleeves!
Language: Spanish. If you’re in a tourist area, you can usually find people who can speak at least some English, and staff are often bilingual.
Safety in Medellín: So like most international destinations, there are areas you want to avoid and areas which are generally very safe. We recommend taking off expensive jewelry (ie rings, necklaces) while walking around Colombia, and to keep your purse and belongings near you and within sight.
