We were both attending a convention in downtown Oklahoma City (OKYPA); we believe it was our divine appointment. Soooo I had just given all my dating over to God. I said, “Father you know my Heart, nothing less than a True Love, Twin Flame, Soul Mate will do. I trust you.” I met David that weekend! He tells how he went on a long walk under the stars outside the convention that same night, just hours before we met. He looked up at the full moon and said his own prayer, asking God for guidance and to make clear to him which next steps to take on his journey. Fast forward to end of the night. I was giving away concert tickets at the after party to the “Best" and "Last Standing” dancers. Guess who won? David and his best friend Andrew! When I looked up at David I saw twinkling stars in his eyes. Something magical ignited at that moment. We exchanged numbers and high fives. The rest is history. Thank you God for answering our prayers!
On the third anniversary of the day we met, David says, “Get dolled up, babe… I have a surprise for you tonight.” After dinner on a sunset stroll he took me back to the spot we met, the very spot where he’d said that prayer three years ago. There were some street musicians performing and he twirled me around in a magical dance. When I open my eyes, he was on one knee. He read a beautiful poem and I started to cry. The moon came out and he asked me to be his wife. He is the most sincere, sweet, hard working, loyal and genuine man. I said YES! Through the covid shutdowns we stayed engaged for 2years before finally tying the knot on the beautiful shores of the Yucatan peninsula with 50 of our closest friends and family 💕 Now we are living a joyful life under the same roof with our 2 boys Isaiah and Dexter & that is #TOTALLYMANAUGHSOME !
