Our love story began in the heart of South Carolina State University, where we were both biology majors with big dreams and busy lab schedules. We met in a lab class, surrounded by microscopes and pipettes — not the most romantic setting, but it turned out to be the perfect place for something beautiful to begin. We were just two students trying to pass our classes, but little did we know we were about to discover something much greater than a love for science. From the first time we partnered up in lab, there was a connection neither of us could ignore. What started as casual conversations over classwork quickly grew into late-night study sessions, shared meals on campus, and eventually, a deep friendship that blossomed into love. Our journey began at SCSU, and now, years later, we’re writing a new chapter — still side by side, still learning, still growing, and more in love than ever.
