We're getting married!

Both of us attended Ball State and we met at our church there, the Christian Campus House. We had some mutual friends, so we inevitably started hanging out together in our big friend group. We didn't really talk much at first, but after a week or two, we were hanging out pretty regularly in smaller groups.

Our friendship had grown a lot over just a few weeks, and we were texting each other all day every day and hanging out every evening until really late. One Wednesday night after Bible study, I sat down with him and told him how I felt and he expressed that he shared the same feelings. Our relationship started a couple weeks after that.

By the time a year and some months of us dating had rolled around, we had taken so many trips together, including drives through the countryside, trips to Michigan, and (our favorite) exploring abandoned houses. On the one year anniversary of our first explore together, David took me out to a country road that we like to go to at night to see the clear, beautiful night sky. He told me about how exploring abandoned houses had become such a big part of our relationship and how drives out to this road had become kind of like our thing together. That's when he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. And so began the next adventure in our lives; planning for and anxiously awaiting the day we would say "I do."
