Our love story isn't a fairy tale more of like a jaunt with lots of bumps, rocks and winding roads along the way but that is what makes it unique. Sometimes it is the roughest stone that has the most shine and brilliance. Tired of the dating scene, sick of looking for love in all the wrong places, lots or crazies later and just wanting something real we both wandered across each other on a dating website. After many long chats, sharing some terrible dating website stories and lots of laughs, we decided to get together for a first date. While Dave of course fell in love with me immediately, I mean who wouldn't...lol just kidding, it didn't take me too long to fall for that big smile, warm inviting eyes or sweet text messages everyday just to say hi. Dave says he fell in love with me because anyone who could tolerate his all day sports watching, waking up at the crack of dawn even when he doesn't have to and his need to eat the second his eyes open is the woman for him! Dave's love for sports caught my eye almost instantly all except that he was a SOX Fan....although I knew being able to tease him forever over loving the wrong team-I mean really is there any other Baseball Team than the CUBS!!! GO CUBS GO!!! seemed like a fun benefit of our relationship! We have had our problems as everyone does, we have lost our patience with each other, we have yelled and screamed at each other but we have also supported each other at times of need, laughed together, enjoyed each others successes, worked through all of our struggles and most importantly never stopped loving each other from the moment we knew it was real! Now we get to share our love story with you, our closest family and friends, as we join our lives together in marriage! So save the date for what will be a Wedding full of what makes us-us!
