Life update! We have been both been living in Seattle for almost ten years and Renzo has been along the whole time. We met each other in the Fall 2020 and the connection was immediate. Our relationship has grown immensely over the past few years and we have decided to get married!!! David is working as a Project Manager for a Contractor Firm and Tess is working as an Environmental Engineer. Both assist on public projects that benefit the city and our neighborhood.

We try to go down to Baja, Mexico every winter to soak up the sun, and get out on the water kiteboarding and swimming. During our trip in 2023, David planned a special surprise. After a sporty day on the water we made it back to the beach safely and were ready to relax and rest. David suggested a walk on the beach at sunset to take in the views and spend a moment alone before dinner. After some cajoling David got us to a private spot on the beach and got on one knee to propose. They both wept and could not stop smiling and laughing after Tess enthusiastically accepted. We then got to spend the next week with both our parents and share our exciting news about the union. This is a cornerstone for our relationship and one of the many reasons we want to return to Baja Sur for the wedding ceremony.

David had the patience and kindness to teach Tess how to kiteboard and opened a world of exploration and adventure. We have chased the wind, travelling to Bonaire, Maui, Mexico, Hood River Oregon, and across the Puget Sound. It is a passion and stoke that demands complete focus. We both love the sport and have the most fun riding and cheering each other on. This care and excitement extends to our lives off the water. Finding gratitude in little moments and appreciation for the family and community that surrounds us.
