Man of Honor
Dylan is my little brother and best friend all wrapped in one. He is serving as my co-man of honor and as a Groomsman for David. I have had the honor of being Dylan's big sister, from the time I saw you born at the hospital, I knew you were going to be my built in best friend forever. From coffee dates, to living in an apartment together, to traveling Europe together, I love getting to experience life with you by my side. I feel so lucky to have grown up together and to share this moment of my life with you helping me every minute of it. Make sure to ask Dylan funny stories of us growing up and how I used to be the bully of an older sister, he has plenty of stories to share.
Maid of Honor
If you knew me and Courtney growing up, we have always been tied at the hip and share everything from being born just hours apart at the same hospital, sharing almost the same social security number, going to every school together since middle school, down to getting matching tattoos together (sorry again mom and dad). Courtney is the embodiment of sunshine in human form, she is always there for you when you need anything whether it's a hand to hold, advice or someone to take a shot with, she's always there with amazing energy. I have shared more than half my life with Courtney by my side which is one of the many reasons she is my Maid of Honor.
Bridesmaid
I first met Kaylee the summer before 5th grade, she was spying down on me in the backyard from her upstairs balcony and I thought oh no a girl my age lives next door to me I wonder if she's nice. Little did I know we would become like family, Kaylee is one of my longest best friends who has a heart of gold. We grew up living next door to each other, having at least 4-5 sleepovers a week, traveling together, spending family holidays together and going through every phase of life together. I couldn't imagine my life without Kaylee in it, I am so honored to call her one of my bridesmaids.
Bridesmaid
I first met Lauren in middle school but we became best friends in high school. Lauren is my all around friend: she's someone I can call when I want to gossip, someone I can relax on the couch and watch a movie with, someone I can always have a good time with, and someone who can dance on a table in Miami with. Lauren is an amazing person who would do anything for the people she loves, I am so lucky to call you one of my best friends and so lucky to having you standing at my side during the biggest moment of my life. Give her a few tequila shots and you'll see her twerking on the dance floor at the wedding.
Bridesmaid
My franny: my best friend who can always make me laugh so hard I cry. I grew up going to francesca's birthday parties since we were in the 7th grade, and now I get the honor of having her at my wedding as one of my bridesmaids. Fran's energy is infectious and she can make anyone feel comfortable. She is the friend I can talk to for hours about anything and will always protect the people she loves. She is an ER nurse so if you ever need any wild stories be sure to ask her for some at the wedding.
Bridesmaid
My first friend in college, I remember the day I moved into the dorms at Chico State I was so scared and wondering if I would meet friends. Next thing I knew the girl that lived in the room across the hall knocked on my door, introduced herself and asked if we would want to eat dinner together at the dining hall. Ever since then we spent all 4 years of college partying, sharing countless crazy memories, and living together. Carly is one of the toughtest and coolest girls I know, I mean seriously who else knows a girl that is a cop, can shoot just about any gun there is, and hunts as a hobby.
Bridesmaid
My loudest and craziest friend: rachy bear. I will NEVER have a bad time with rachael around, she is a big ball of amazing energy and the most perfectly said speeches. I first met rachael back in college, when I heard someone yelling and blasting music down the hall-sure enough she became my best friend. Rachael will always be there for you with the best advice, uplifting energy and support. She is known for being the best mother to her dog sadie, the best chef in the kitchen, and the best host to all her friends and family. Im sure you guys will hear one of her infamous cheers' at the wedding.
Bridesmaid
My shaye shaye: I first met shaye freshman year at Chico State. We ended up rushing together and spent 4 years in the same sorority. I got to live with shaye for 2 years in college where we spent endless days of laughter, lots of drinking and tons of memories were made. Shaye is known as our friend groups personal DJ, she always knows how to make every event fun with the best vibes and best music. But I love shaye most because she is the friend I can call about anything and she will be there to listen and support you, she is the definition of a true friend. If we get shaye drunk enough she will bring out what shes also best known for: irish dancing.
Best Man
Jon is the definition of an older brother! He has always been a guide for me through life’s ups and downs—even if that meant finding a way to win every board game we played. I’m incredibly proud of Jonathan’s accomplishments as a Marine Pilot and has been a source of inspiration for me. Though we’re almost five years apart, he’s always found ways to keep our connection strong by flying me out to Virginia, Florida, and Nevada for important life events. His unwavering support and leadership have been a constant source of inspiration to me. I’m honored to call him my brother and to have him as a best man at our wedding.
Best Man
Ryan and I met back in elementary school during a youth group event and have been best friends ever since. The Baines family has always welcomed me into their home, where we spent countless hours playing video games, Catan, and watching movies. Over the years, our friendship has grown stronger through every phase of life. We got the chance to work together at Cold Stone during high school and college - We would put on a show by throwing ice cream in the air to each other and sometimes on the floor. We’ve talked about this moment for a long time where he would get to be my best man and am so excited the moment is finally here. His abilities to story tell is what he is known for, I know he has unlimited stories to share about our friendship at the wedding.
Groomsman
Tristen and I met at Concordia University, bonding over basketball games and parties. After college, he made a big change by moving to Pacific Beach and reached out on Cinco de Mayo to reconnect, and we were hard to separate ever since. I have to share the fact that Sydney and I may have never met if it wasn't for him. His loyalty and friendship have been a constant source of support through these adult chapters of my life. Whether we’re playing sports, hitting the bars, or making up random jokes, Tristen always knows how to have a great time, and his energy is contagious. He can officially say he is the best wingman!
Groomsman
I had the pleasure of meeting Dylan when I first started dating Sydney. We both share the attribute of being the younger sibling who is equally terrified of the bride when she gets upset lol. Dylan is so caring and can always make me laugh, he is known for his wit and inappropriate jokes. We have spent many nights on the couch watching movies all together and doing family dinners together and family trips. I know he has never had a brother before, so I honored that I get to call you my brother in law.
Groomsman
My brother-in-law! I’m grateful my twin sister met such an amazing man that I know get the pleasure of calling my groomsman. Don’t believe him when he says he has a good golf game, but he definitely has a great heart. He takes on the difficult role of making me look good at golf. Even though he lives in Houston, Greg always keeps in touch through sports betting, fantasy football, and video games. Although he is younger than me, he always finds ways to teach me important life lessons. His kindness and humor make him not just family, but a true friend. I’m proud to have him standing up there with me.
Officiant
My older sister. Brooke has also been a huge guide for me, helping me get recruited to play basketball at Grossmont University since she played on their volleyball team and connected me to the basketball coach. Brooke is an amazing ball of energy who is the life of any party. We had the chance to travel to Europe together a few summers ago, which turned out to be an amazing trip with somehow minimal arguing. Her unwavering support and infectious enthusiasm have always inspired me. I am so grateful to have her officiate the wedding.
Officiant
My twin sister and I have been close our whole lives, obviously since the womb. She has always been there to help me when life gets hard and to celebrate the good times. I couldn’t imagine life without my twin—she helped me get my first and second jobs, invited me into her friend groups, and is always there to support me through both the highs and lows. Although we have more mileage distance between us now, I’m incredibly proud of her journey through college, work, and starting her family in Houston. Her strength and kindness continue to inspire me every day. I am so grateful to have her officiate the wedding.
