and

Stacy Wright

September 23, 2018

Beverly Hills, CA

Where it all began...

David and Stacy met on a well known dating website called e-harmony. David caught Stacy's attention when he said "I will cook dinner, if you make the cookies." Stacy and David had a good laugh, but decided that maybe first they should meet for coffee, in a well lit area. Needless to say they had an instant spark on their first meeting at Starbucks. Stacy loved that David said what he meant and meant what he said. She knew this could be the "real deal".

We are officially official

During the next few months David and Stacy shared their love for food and travel with one another. They went on dates at each others favorite restaurants in the city and talked until closing time at each and everyone. Their spark continued to grow and on November 20, 2016 after David cooked his, now famous lamb roast and as promised Stacy made her cookies, David asked Stacy to be his girlfriend.

The Proposal

May 13, 2017

David always knew Stacy wanted to see more of Europe. So, in 2017 they began planning an epic European vacation for the books. In May, they began their adventure. After a brief 8hr. layover in Sweden, David and Stacy touched down in Rome, Italy. It was a little after 1 am, they were both exhausted and could feel the jet lag settling in. However, the excitement of being in a new country kept them going. After checking into their hotel, Stacy immediately ran to open the french doors to their terrace. This was her favorite part of the hotel, and knew the view in the morning would be breathtaking. The next morning Stacy was woken up at the non-vacation hour of 6 am by David, beckoning her to come out onto the terrace. This was very unlike David to wake up so early. After a few more unsuccessful attempts, David finally succeeded in getting Stacy to join him. Stacy walked outside to blue sky's and a beautiful view of some of the most stunning Italian architecture. After gushing about how lucky she felt to be in such a beautiful city, Stacy plopped down in the chair next to David. As soon as Stacy sat down, David reached for her hand and said "It was the hardest thing for me not to give you this on the plane". Stacy's breath caught in her chest as David reached into the side of the chair, revealing a square maroon box, got down on one knee and asked Stacy to be his wife. A trip for the books, indeed!

First Comes Teddy, Then Comes Marriage.

Stacy and Davids New Zealand trip put reality into check on how puppy crazy these two both were. In Wellington, David and Stacy ran into the cutest white fuzz ball of a dog, appropriately named Teddy. From that moment on, the talk of having a Teddy of their very own, was the topic of most every conversation. Teddy finally become a reality, two days after David and Stacy arrived home from Europe. The day they picked Teddy up from his foster home, and this bundle of pure love jumped into their arms, they were hooked. They were now a family of three.

The Big Day!

September 23, 2018

We wanted to bring everything we love into our wedding day. We fell in love with Greystone Mansion on our first walk through. It felt as though we were stepping back into Europe. From the stone pathways, cypress tree lined walkways, and the scent of lavender everywhere you go. It was everything we wanted, tucked in the hills of the city, where we first fell in love. We want to thank each and everyone of our loved ones for making this journey out to our wedding. We cant wait to celebrate with you!
