We’re Getting Married!

We didn’t meet because we were searching, we met because of purpose. It started with a phone call. David reached out for help with a church event (Fine Arts: if you know; well, you know) Very professional. Very innocent. Very…. not supposed to turn into a love story. But working together turned into connection, and feelings quietly developed. Then came the drive from Sanford to Poinciana. David drove out to pick Shanice up for a date he had already planned in his head. Shanice was just along for the ride… but definitely peeping the moves. Somewhere between the effort and attention, it was clear that this was indeed intentional. Not long after, youth camp happened. And being away did what it tends to do. That’s when Shanice realized she didn’t like being without David and that realization changed everything. She felt connected to him. David pursued with intention. Real gentleman energy. Clear communication. Pressure applied but in a confident, respectful, manly way. No games. No confusion. Not dragged out. He told Shanice he liked her, shared his intentions, explained his why, and prayed over their relationship. There was no “talking stage.” (We chose clarity.) Then Shanice moved… and suddenly “us” became real life. Not just feelings, but a decision. A new rhythm. New lifestyles. A new chapter built side by side. Now we’re here! SUPER locked in, deeply in love, and genuinely enjoying this little life we’re building together!
