We actually met our freshman year, but we didn’t really start talking or truly getting to know each other, until senior year of high school. During that first semester, David ended up in almost all of my classes. I had just gone through a breakup, and he was the one who stepped in with support, and a steady presence I didn’t even realize I needed. We started talking more, and eventually I got his number. Little by little, our conversations grew deeper, and it became obvious that we were falling for each other. Then one night, a bad storm swept through Murfreesboro while he was at church at Family Worship Center. When the tornado warning hit, I started panicking and calling him immediately to make sure he was safe. That moment made everything clear. I cared about him far more than I thought. I had been praying for signs, asking God to show me whether he was the one meant for me. And honestly, God didn’t hesitate. He made it known, loud and clear. About a week later, we officially started dating. And now, here we are building a life together, planning our wedding, and stepping into the future with the same love that started so simply and unexpectedly.
