How the Couple met.

David and Rosanna first met online. David sent the first message after seeing that Rosanna had checked him out virtually :) From there, the messages continued to grow in length. After about a month of chatting, he asked her out on a date. The first date was at Primo's Mexican restaurant. David arrived right on time and Rosanna was "fashionably late" (as per the usual). Dinner exceeded expectations and the two mutually agreed to continue getting to know one another over drinks at the Flying Saucer next door.

Dating Adventures

The couple went on many adventures over the following 2-3 years including trips to Austin for annual Spartan races that were always super muddy and rainy, Fredericksburg to discover the beautiful hill country, Corpus Cristi to meet David's extended family, Chicago for one of David's marathons, and Nashville for a summer vacation with Rosanna's family. Over time, the two became best friends and their love grew into something that could not be replaced.

The Proposal

After months of planning, David decided to propose on the day the couple moved into their new home. Rosanna was under the impression that because of closing costs, the ring was unable to be purchased until after the move. But upon arriving to the new house after work, Rosanna and Alaina found a note on the front door. The note read: " Welcome to your our new home ladies. I have a surprise for you. Come in! :) " As Rosanna and Alaina opened the front door, they were surprised by tons of balloons on the floor and a trail of notes that led to the main room. Each note signified a different moment in the couples relationship. "Remember our first date?", "Remember our first kiss?", "Remember our first trip?", etc. The very last note read: "Do you remember when ____ :) " Then David came out from the kitchen and surprised Rosanna by getting down on one knee and asking her the question she had been waiting for. After she freaked out and then agreed, he shouted "She said Yes!" and to Rosanna and Alaina's surprise, the rest of the family came out to celebrate the engagement.
