Question

Do I need to be vaccinated to travel to Hawaii?

Answer

Update!!! Hawai’i Safe Travels restrictions ended on 3/25/2022 at 11:59pm HST. Travelers arriving on and beyond 3/26/2022 will no longer be required to complete a Safe Travels application to enter Hawai’i. Beginning at 12:00am HST, 3/26/2022, there will be no COVID-related requirements for arriving domestic passengers. Travelers arriving in Hawai’i directly from international airports must still comply with U.S. federal requirements; consult with your airline. You can get more info at hawaiicovid19.com

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We have been asked to provide the venue with an exact head count and all names for our event. All guests must RSVP no later than March 31, 2022.

Question

What airport should I fly into?

Answer

Kona International Airport (KOA) is the closest airport to the wedding celebration venues (approx. 8 miles). If you are staying near the wedding, you may need to arrange transportation to/from the airport.

Question

Do I need to rent a car?

Answer

If you are staying in the downtown Kona area, near the reception venue, there are many places within walking distance for shopping and dining. Renting a car is a great option for getting around and seeing all the sights on the beautiful Big Island of Hawaii, but if you are looking to do anything outside of walking distance from your stay, there are Uber/Lyft and taxi services available, and also shuttle services to certain tours. For vehicle rentals, we suggest Expedia.com or Priceline.com.

Question

We love the kids but take the night off. Due to limited capacity we are only able to accommodate children of immediate family. This will still be an adults-only celebration.
