Mesa Verde National Park

Canyons of the Ancients National Monument

Docs Marina has boat rentals if you're interested in kayaking or motoring around the reservoir!

McPhee Reservoir

These are just some of the hikes near Dolores, but Alltrails, Hiking Project, and the Forest Service website will have plenty more to choose from! The San Juan mountains outside of town are a gem to explore.

Telluride is a little over an hour's drive from Dolores, through some stunning scenery!

Telluride

Durango sits an hour south of Dolores and is a much bigger town with all the shops, bars, and restaurants you could want. Attractions include a steam train that runs from Durango to Silverton as well as a cute downtown.
