2) Brazil now requires an E-visa for U.S. Travelers. We recommend applying as soon as possible. To apply for E-VISA: https://brazil.vfsevisa.com/
3) Dollar convertion: 1 USD ($) = 5.80 BRL (R$). Places in Brazil accept international credit cards like Visa, MasterCard, and American Express. We recommend informing your bank about your upcoming international trip.
4) Please remember to bring an international adapter for your electronics, as the outlets are different than USA.
Flight
John F. Kennedy (JFK) to Sao Paulo (GRU)
There are daily non-stop flights from JFK, including overnight options that we recommend. You can also fly from Newark or Philadelphia, though Philadelphia flights may be more expensive. Many flights with layovers are available as well.
