What was supposed to be a surprise Christmas photoshoot for Phebe's mother ended up being a complete set up to get Phebe down to the beach! David pulled of the most unforgettable and unexpected proposal of the year. While most lucky girls see their proposals coming, Phebe was completely blindsided in the most special way. David flew down to Mexico while Phebe and her family were on vacation. On the day of, her oldest sister had the "surprise" photoshoot scheduled for their mom. Phebe eagerly walked down to the beach while repeatedly looking back at her mom to try and catch her reaction, just to come upon David, surrounded by roses in front of the most beautiful seashore. Nothing but pure shock that led to the most romantic and heartfelt proposal. David truly outdid himself.
