How do we pay for on-site lodging?

Answer

Campers - Pay Camp Lotus directly upon arrival. Glampers - Pay Nikki/David via venmo/zelle for tent and Camp Lotus for $20pp/nt site fee. RV or Cabin - Pay Camp Lotus directly upon arrival. Venmo: @DavidandNikki2025 Paypal: paypal.me/davidandnikki2025 Zelle: 6504920169

What are the rafting trip details?

Answer

The trip is 0830-1:30pm, starting and ending at Camp Lotus. $110 per person. Moderate difficulty. The adventure begins with an exciting class III stretch of rapids, followed by a float through the beautiful and historic Coloma Valley, the site of the original gold discovery in California in 1848. Children as young as 6 years old can attend.

Attire / Dress code?

Answer

Fri Welcome Event & Sat Ceremony: Summer Elevated Casual / Garden Party / Aloha Ladies: short or long dresses, light/airy blouses w pants/shorts/skirt, casual shoes/sandals Gents: Short or long sleeve collared shirts or polos, shorts, casual shoes/sandals *Ceremony & Reception on grass. Dancing on a dance floor, but there is some uneven ground. Plan shoes accordingly! *A light jacket recommended as it cools in the evening. Rest of weekend: casual camping / swim attire!

What is the food situation?

Answer

Thurs: BYOB and BYO-grillables for a casual BBQ Fri: Catered Tacos / self-serve drinks Sat: Catered reception dinner /drinks Coffee and croissants will be provided every morning in The Barn, courtesy of Father of the Bride. The deli and cafe at Camp Lotus can meet all other food/drink needs, not to mention all the great local area options to check out!

What should I expect / bring if I'm camping?

Answer

Bring anything and everything you need to make yourselves comfortable in an outdoor camping environment, plus food snacks, etc.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

September in Lotus, CA can be anywhere from 70-100 during the day, and 50-70 at night. Make sure to bring a something to wear in the water, as well as a light jacket. We will update on weather as the date approaches!

Can we bring our kids?

Answer

Absolutely! Just please have a plan to limit disruptions to our other guests / campers (ie: crying babies!).

Can we bring our dog?

Answer

No, unfortunately Camp Lotus does not allow any dogs on site.

Can we build fires?

Answer

There are fire pits, but based on the dry weather and fire risk in California, we likely cannot make fires. Propane grills are on site for rental.
