Swimsuit and Comfortable Clothes
We will be going on a day trip to the Santa Rosa de Cabal Hot Springs. There are waterfalls, natural hot springs, a cafe, and a spa. There are hiking trails to some of the waterfalls, or you can sit and relax at the cafe after you soak in the hot springs. Plan to spend around $7 for entry to the hot springs and $20 or less on spa treatments if you would like to participate in those (massage, volcanic mud facials, etc.). After the hot springs, we will walk around town and enjoy shops, music, food, and culture. Return to your accommodation in Pereira for the night.

Today we will embark on our journey to the Coffee Triangle! We will go to a coffee farm for a tour and of course COFFEE!!! We will spend some time in Salento, a local town and journey on a Willy Jeep to Cocora Valley for scenery, the tallest wax palms in the world, and hiking or horseback riding if you wish to participate. Arrive in The House That Sings Airbnb property for the night.

After a homemade traditional breakfast at the Airbnb, walk 5 minutes to PANACA animal theme park. (Plan to spend $10-$15 for entry). ***optional activity is Parque del Cafe, a local coffee theme park with rides, coffee, cultural demonstrations, and fun*** PANACA showcases Colombia's rural culture and traditions, giving visitors hands-on experiences with farm animals, including cows, pigs, horses, and chickens. The park features live shows, educational exhibits, and activities like milking cows or feeding animals (baby pigs!), all set against a picturesque backdrop of lush greenery. PANACA prides itself on the connection between humans, animals, and nature. *The theme park is located very close to the Airbnb (5 minute walk down the street). The Airbnb includes a cook who can make breakfast, lunch, and an early dinner so meals are included, unless you wish you eat out. Food in the park and surrounding areas is inexpensive)*** Return to Airbnb for evening. Optional activities in area.

Join us in celebrating our 10th year wedding anniversary/vow renewal! We will begin our vow renewal at 3 p.m. There will be a welcome reception, ceremony, dinner, and celebration. Come hungry and ready to have fun! We will be staying at Santa Elena this night to allow everyone the comfort and flexibility to retreat whenever you wish. We will have the entire finca to ourselves. Feel free to arrive as early in the day as you want; we have the property from 8 a.m. on 7/5/25 until 6 p.m. on 7/6/25. There is a pool onsite, volleyball net, relaxing areas, and optional horseback riding. There are also local activities you can participate in prior to the ceremony such as river rafting, chiva bus tours, a bamboo farm, local towns, etc.
