They crossed paths multiple times over the course of a few years. David had seen plays Nick was in while at Lakeland. Nick's graduation party was the same time and place as David's cousin. They noticed each other in a grocery store where Nick had worked. Needless to say, it was obviously not the right time for them to officially meet. It wasn't until a few years later, after both of them had grown, and knew what they wanted out of life and from their partner that they had a chance meeting... on tinder. On their first date, they went to the Penalty Box. A not so fancy sports bar, not that far from the apartment where Nick lived at the time. This was, of course, after Nick kept David waiting in the parking lot of his apartment while he franticly primped. They were both a little nervous, but as the night went on they became more comfortable with each other. At the end of the night, Nick picked up the tab, they hugged, and parted ways for the evening. There was definitely chemistry. During one of the first conversations after the first date, Nick lured David to a second date with the promise of his favorite pizza. He knew the way to his heart. Now here they are three years later. Still in love. Ready to spend the rest of their lives together.
