FAQs

The Wedding Website of Naomi Murata and David Daesung Lowe
We hope this covers any frequently asked questions! If you have a question that is not answered here, please feel free to contact Naomi or David. Not Claude...his one brain cell is already overworked.
Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Ideal arrival time would be between 3:00-3:20 pm. The wedding couple and their families will be taking photos at the venue beforehand, then the ceremony will promptly start at 3:30 pm.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, valets will be available for those who drive to the venue. Please drive responsibly!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We encourage everyone to join in summer semi-formal attire. Summer in Chicago can be hot! We ask that skirts/dresses be mid-thigh or longer. Jumpsuits are welcome. A full suit is optional, however, a dress shirt and pants are encouraged. Denim and khakis are strongly discouraged. The venue will have AC indoors, but the ceremony may be performed outside so prepare accordingly.

Question

Do you have a registry?

Answer

Thank you for thinking about us! Your presence at our wedding is a gift enough. If you feel inclined to give us a wedding gift, a contribution towards our Moving Funds (Venmo: David-Lowe-12 or Zelle: biolowegy@gmail.com) would greatly help us start newlywed life off right. If you would still like to give us a physical gift, we would appreciate just the gifts listed in our registry as we’re in the process of moving into our new apartment together!

Question

Can I bring a date? Can I bring my kids?

Answer

We sincerely ask that only people listed on the invite attend as we have arranged for a plated dinner with limited space. We will not guarantee any food or seats for non-invited guests. When in doubt, please contact Naomi or David. Thank you!

Question

Is there a hotel block/specific accommodations?

Answer

We have decided to not do a hotel block to ensure guests have the most flexibility in booking accommodations. Chicago offers many hotels/airbnbs at different price points and distances from the venue. Let us know if you need any suggestions!
