We're Getting Married!

Our wedding will be in Massachusetts' South Shore. The venue is The Villa at Ridder Country Club (The Tent), which is outdoors. The Ceremony and cocktail hour will be uncovered and the reception will be in The Tent, which has sides that open up.

We met at Boston University in 2017 when David was on the men's basketball coaching staff and Nafeesa was in marketing. We started as colleagues and friends, working on social media projects and getting the players to go to various events. One day we hung out, ate a lot of nachos and pad thai, watched Heartbreak Kid, and the rest is history!

David proposed in July 2021 at Green Harbor Beach in Marshfield, MA. Nafeesa's family has a cottage in Ocean Bluff but they discovered Green Harbor per her dad and uncle Tim's suggestion (thank you!), and it's been their favorite summer spot ever since. Nafeesa originally said no to the after-work adventure because they needed to finish packing for vacation...good thing she changed her mind! They were sitting on the beach when David opted to get her favorite - fried clams from The Lobster Pound. When he came back, Nafeesa opened the bag of food and saw a little blue box sitting on top of their dinner. It was a fantastic day.

Rafael Nadal's Birthday: During lock down in 2020, David and Nafeesa took up tennis and have been playing since! Nadal is David's favorite tennis player. National Egg Day: Nafeesa makes quite a good egg and cheese breakfast sandwich, which is David's favorite breakfast meal. 6/3/1992: Michael Jordan's iconic "Shrug Game" vs. the Portland Trail Blazers in the NBA Finals. Nafeesa was born in 1992, and that's the first year (according to Grandma) David started playing basketball. Love Conquers All Day: Love is all you need!
