Royce met both Monique and David at different points in her life and became close friends with both of them separately! Seriously guys, how cool is that!? David and Monique didn't meet through her, and yet both had their own close individual friendships with her! She has been a wonderful presence in both of their lives, praying often for who David and Monique would marry one day in the future- not knowing they would end up marrying each other! You just can't make this stuff up. <3 She's also really good at keeping good secrets like "secret coffee," "secret birthday breakfasts," and "secret planning for secret proposals!" ;)

Alice & Monique met in art class junior yr. of high school. Monique walked into class in her cheer uniform on crunches! Alice thought that was funny. Monique started talking to her right away noticing she was brand new to the school. Their friendship didn't truly forge however, until Alice walked into the girl's bathroom & saw Monique crying because she was getting a "not completely deserved" D in chemistry. Alice made her laugh so hard by saying, "don't worry that teacher is failing all of us" while likening her to a troll doll keychain Monique had. Alice would continue to make Monique laugh through hard times. Monique graduated from UCLA and Alice from UCR even though that teacher said they would never get into a "good college." They do however still cause innocent mischief together <3
Michelle Sclafani

Michelle and Monique met through some friends while in college. They both went to a semi-regular bowling night. None of the other people that were there are still in their lives and Monique still can't bowl, but they did gain each-other! Together they navigated college, grad-school, heart breaks and even seeing each other find true love. Michelle is often mistaken for Monique's twin- like actually people think they are twins. At halloween parties, it's even harder to tell them apart, lol. This is mostly funny to those who attend Michelle's parents' annual halloween bash. It is very amusing to them to watch people do a double take all night. It should be easy to tell them apart at the wedding though; Monique will be the one wearing the white dress. ;)

Summer is Monique's niece so they pretty much met the day Summer was born. Both being dancers, and both dance instructors at the same dance studio, they would spend a lot of down time talking about dance, life, boys, and food. A lot about food actually! They have made many a live video of tasting odd candies late at night. Summer was present for the entire relationship of David and Monique including its beginning. Monique would talk about her friendship with David and Summer would claim over and over again, "Monique, he "likes" you. TRUST me he likes you." Lol! She was right! She called it first.
Mark Singerman

It would be so easy to try and make this the funniest introduction of all. Monique & Mark did meet because of his sense of humor, after all. They met on a mutual friend's facebook post because she liked, LAUGHED, & replied to a hilarious comment he made. They still LAUGH & they LAUGH a lot!!! But in all truth, Mark is someone who has helped to shape, grow, and encourage Monique's spiritual walk with God in extremely profound ways. He is someone who she trusts for wisdom, advice, truth, and accountability. He has watched David and Monique's relationship form from its beginning and has been a wonderful friend to both of them. He is also responsible for that Gorgeous proposal photo featured on this website. Being one of Monique's closest friends, it was a no-brainer he would stand with her.
