FOOD
There is a delicious farm-to-table restaurant open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner onsite. You can also walk into town for more options (click the link for suggestions).
REDWOOD HIKE
Armstrong Redwoods is a 5-minute drive (or easy bike ride) from Dawn Ranch with 805 acres of coastal redwoods (the tallest trees on earth!). The Pioneer Nature Trail is an easy 1.5-mile out-and-back, or take the slightly longer 2.3-mile loop from Pioneer up to East Ridge.
WINE TASTING
There's an amazing bar at Dawn Ranch with local wine and cocktails. You can also walk into town for a wine tasting, or drive just outside of town to visit local wineries. Click the link to learn more.
Northwood Golf Club
Play golf in the redwoods - less than 5 minutes from Dawn Ranch! We're not golfers, but our friends say this is one of their favorite courses in California (and golf.com rated it the 30th best 9-hole course in the world!). Check their website for the most up-to-date prices and tee times for 18 and/or 9 holes.
Johnson's Beach
One of the most popular, family-friendly beaches in the area is a 5-10 minute walk from Dawn Ranch. You can rent kayaks and floaties once you're there!
COASTAL DRIVE
Take a 20-minute drive through the coastal mountain range to Jenner for incredible ocean views. Cafe Aquatica is our favorite spot for local food and coffee by the water! See "extended travel" below for more options along the coast.
HEALDSBURG
A quintessential NorCal wine country town, Healdsburg is just a 30 minute drive inland from Guernville. It is a super cute town with amazing farm-to-table restaurants and tons of shops to explore! Click the link for things to do in Healdsburg.
