Question
What Should I Wear?
Answer
We ask that guests dress in black tie optional attire for our celebrations. We encourage our guests to go all out in their attire! Wear your best full length gown, tuxedo, or formal suit. Still unsure what to wear? Below are some helpful ideas: https://www.brides.com/black-tie-optional-wedding-attire-4800698 We respectfully ask that guests do not wear the color white, jean pants, and/or sneakers to our event!

Will food and drinks be served at the reception? What kind of food?
Answer
We will be serving a fajita buffet for dinner. There will be vegetarian, vegan, gluten free, dairy free, and nut free options. Dinner will be served around 7:00 p.m. so we recommend a late lunch that day! For drinks we will have a full bar, non alcoholic options, and coffee!

Where can we park at the venue?
Answer
There is parking at our venue! When you approach the parking attendant please let them know you are with the Gonzalez/Schmidt Wedding!

What can we do during the day?
Answer
Since our ceremony is later in the evening, we want to encourage our guests to explore the Minnesota History Center during the day! The museum will be open from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. When you arrive stop by the information desk and let them know that you are with the Gonzalez/Schmidt Wedding, your admission is on us for the day!

Can I bring a date?

Due to our venue capacity, our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation

Are children invited?
Answer
We are inviting a limited number of children who are near and dear to hearts. Due to the timing of our event, we respectfully ask that if you have a child under the age of 2 they stay home for the evening so they can get a good nights rest!

How do I get to the venue?
Answer
There are two ways to get to the venue. 1. Take a shuttle to and from the Saint Paul Hotel, this shuttle will be available at the beginning and end of the night! 2. Drive to the venue and park at their one site parking.
