How do I RSVP?

When do I need to RSVP by?
Answer
Please RSVP no later than Tuesday 1st September 2026. If you do not RSVP by that time, we will assume you cannot make it

What time is the ceremony and what time should I arrive?
Answer
Our ceremony will begin promptly at 2.45pm. A shuttle bus will depart from Salt accomodation at 1.50pm and Seabreeze hotel at 2.15pm, arriving at the venue at approximately 2.30pm. If you are making your own way to the venue, we kindly ask that you arrive no later than 2:30pm to ensure everyone is seated before the ceremony begins.

Is there parking at the ceremony and reception location?
Answer
For those wishing to make their own way to the ceremony and reception, there is ample parking right outside the gaol and ample spots outside of the reception venue as well as close street parking.

Can I take photo’s during the ceremony?
Answer
To help us create a meaningful and intimate ceremony, we’ve chosen to have an unplugged ceremony. We’d love for you to relax, be present, and enjoy the moment with us—our photographer will capture it all.

Is there transportation to the ceremony & reception venue?
Answer
Yes! Leave the driving to us and focus on celebrating. We’ve organised buses so you can sit back, relax, and enjoy a few drinks worry-free. Buses will take guests from South West Rocks to Trial Bay Gaol for the ceremony, then on to The Garden Bar for cocktail hour and the reception. At the end of the night, buses will return to South West Rocks at 9:30pm and 10:00pm.

Do you have a gift registry?

We feel so blessed to have you join us in becoming Mr & Mrs Powell and your love and support mean the world to us, and your presence is the greatest gift. Should you wish to contribute towards our future together, a wishing well will be available at the venue.

Are children allowed at the wedding?
Answer
While we love your little ones, we have decided to make our wedding an adults-only celebration. We hope this gives everyone the chance to relax and enjoy the day, and we truly appreciate your understanding.

Can I bring a plus one?
Answer
Our wedding will be an intimate celebration, and as such, we’re only able to invite those specifically named on the invitation. We truly appreciate your understanding and are so excited to share the day with you.

Are there hotel blocks and discounts?
Answer
South West Rocks is a beautiful coastal town with mostly boutique motels and holiday rentals rather than large hotel chains. Because of this, we aren’t able to secure hotel blocks or discounted rates. We recommend booking accommodation early, and exploring local motels or Airbnb options to find what best suits your stay.

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?
Answer
The ceremony at the gaol is outdoors, however there will be umbrella's and light refreshments. The reception is indoors with covered outdoor balconys
