FAQs

If you have questions that are not answered here, please reach out to David or Michaela!
Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Aim for semi-formal attire. Semi-formal attire is slightly more casual than cocktail attire. Think cocktail or above the knee length dresses, jumpsuits and casual-leaning suits (ties optional). Our wedding theme is wildflowers and bright colors are welcome. We are not very concerned about what you wear. Most of all, we want you to be comfortable! The ceremony and reception will be outside. Some of the reception area has bark chips. Wear shoes that will do well in a forested environment. Stilettos are not a good move! Keep in mind that we will have access to a beach, kayaks, a hot tub, a sauna, and hiking trails. Feel free to bring a swimsuit or a change of comfortable clothes so you can best experiene all the venue has to offer. There will be bathrooms that are large enough for changing.

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

You should check the weather in the week before the wedding to ensure that you are dressed adequately for the outdoor ceremony and reception. In early September, Molalla is usually still quite warm. Generally, in early September the temperature is in the 80's and it will not be rainy. The Northwest gets cold when the sun goes down. Sunset will be around 7:45 PM, so you may want to bring a coat or shawl.

Question

Where do I park?

Answer

There will be parking attendants to guide you to where you should park. Parking is limited, so it’s best to carpool if you are able to!

Question

Will there be alcohol?

Answer

Yes, we will have an open bar for all of our guests to enjoy complimentary drinks throughout the event. The drinks will be self-serve.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes, we are happy to accommodate most food allergies and dietary restrictions! Please ensure you let us know in advance. When you RSVP, you will be asked whether you have a dietary restriction.
