The Vietnamese tea ceremony (Lễ Vu Quy or Lễ Thành Hôn), integral to Vietnamese weddings, symbolizes respect, gratitude, and the union of two families. It is a cultural tradition where the groom formally asks for the bride’s hand in marriage and a way to honor our parents, elders, and ancestors. The tea ceremony will last about 30 minutes. Families and friends are more than welcome to attend. There will be lunch provided.

Formal attire is encouraged: Tuxes and gowns are welcome, and so are suits and cocktail dresses.
Please follow directions to the Oak Canyon Nature Center Amphitheater. We kindly ask that you arrive by 3:30pm as ceremony will begin promptly at 4:00pm. Cocktail hour and reception will take place at Mon Cheri.
5:30 pm - 10:30 pm

Bring your smiles, good vibes, and dancing shoes! There will be an open bar and hors d'oeuvres during cocktail hour. Dinner will be an 8-course family-style Chinese-Vietnamese cuisine.
