David and Megan - aka Dave and Meg - met freshman year of high school. She was the "new girl" and they dated for a month. Throughout the years, they remained close and continued to keep in contact, even when Dave moved to the West Coast. In September 2016, Meg flew to San Francisco to see "her friend, Dave". Life reconnected them and after frequent visits, he moved back to the East Coast in May 2017. Their fun friendship grew organically, blossoming into a loving, devoted partnership.

On Christmas Day 2022, Dave surprised Meg with a New Year's getaway to Colorado. He planned a Breckenridge ski trip and a visit to Meow Wolf in Denver, one of Meg's favorite immersive art experiences. On New Year's Day, in classic Dave style, he took Meg up the mountain for one last ski run and at the top, Kacey Musgraves was blasting outside the lodge. He bought beverages for both of them before the bar closed at 3 pm, waited for everyone to leave the deck, and told Meg to take off her ski helmet. Once it was just them alone, he got down on two knees - because ski boots are slippery - then onto one knee and proposed. They skied down the mountain together and celebrated the rest of the night!

Dave and Meg are always down for a good time. They love going on adventures, seeing live music (highly recommend Kurt Vile), and caring for their sweet dogs, Ollie - aka Pug - and Walter. Whether it’s road tripping to Asheville with their pups and RV trailer, soaking up the positive vibes in Sayulita, eating fresh seafood on Martha's Vineyard, or traveling to Barcelona for a long weekend, Dave and Meg live life to the fullest together.
