Both of us are from Hershey though our paths didn't cross until high school. We went to Junior Prom together and then things quieted for the next several years as Meg thrived at school and Dave stumbled through Engineering at Penn State. Through their shared friend group, they reconnected after several major failures on Dave's part. Dave eventually grew up and Meg finally accepted to go on a date at Zesty's in Manayunk. The date was not a huge success; Megan forgot her wallet and the food stunk. Somehow though, after a few months, we officially started dating while being 100 miles apart (Meg in DC, Dave in Philly). After 3.5 years, Dave finally convinced Megan to move to Philadelphia. A few months later, Dave proposed to Megan back in Hershey much to her surprise. We shared the engagement with great friends (Thanks Andy and Brodie for the champagne!) and then finished the celebration with close family. We've renewed our lease in the city for at least another year and are trying to take full advantage of the nice places to walk and great places to eat and drink.
