The Cloister at Sea Island
There is something truly special about The Cloister at Christmastime, and we are so excited that you will have the chance to experience a little of its magic while you’re here. From the beautiful decorations to the cozy gathering spots throughout the hotel, it is one of our favorite parts of Sea Island during the holidays. Inside you’ll find The Georgian Rooms, Tavola, The River Bar & Lounge, and The Sea Island Shop.
Georgian Rooms
Located inside The Cloister, The Georgian Rooms offer an elevated take on Southern dining, with a seasonal menu highlighting fresh, locally sourced ingredients. It’s a beautiful choice for a special dinner during the weekend—or stop by for cocktails and enjoy the elegant atmosphere. *Jackets are required for gentlemen, and reservations are recommended.*

Spend an afternoon at the Sea Island Shooting School for a little friendly competition and a lesson in sporting clays. Whether you’re a seasoned shot or a first-timer, it’s a fun way to experience one of Sea Island’s longtime traditions. Reservations are recommended in advance!
The Lodge at Sea Island
Colt & Alison, The Oak Room, The Sea Island Golf Pro Shop, Seaside Golf Course, and Plantation Golf Course are all located within the Lodge. The infamous bagpiper will be playing nightly from 5pm-6pm! Grab a drink with us Thursday night at the Oak Room Bar!
