David and Maggie went to high school together and met through mutual friends when they were fourteen. They quickly became best friends talking over FaceTime and hanging out after class. They officially started dating when they were fifteen and continued dating through their senior year. After losing touch when they went to college, they ran into each other at their favorite local coffee shop a couple of years later and have been inseparable ever since.

David proposed in front of Maggie's parent’s house in the same place where he first kissed her on January 6, 2018. He insisted they go through the garage when they got back to the house. Maggie didn't realize the garage door opener didn’t work, and when she turned around to tell him the door wouldn’t open, he was down on one knee asking for her hand in marriage. Of course she said yes!!

Their Catholic wedding ceremony will take place on the same campus as their Alma Mater. The reception will be held at a local venue located exactly in between their childhood houses. They would pass the venue on their way to each other's houses while dating in high school, and they knew one day they'd get married there!
