The first day

August 27, 2019

We originally became friends in 2014 one night when I spent the night at Kelly's house. David helped co-maid of honor Kelly and I finish moving into our apartment for senior year of college. He came up on his days off most weeks, and would spend the night. We instantly knew that we had found the one.

And then there were 3

For a few weeks, we had been talking about adopting a dog. One night, we went to Animal Adoption Foundation to see if there were any doggos that had personalities similar to ours. David had already been looking at their website and instantly fell in love with this very handsome husky/pit mix. So, we asked if we could meet him and the staff were so excited because Billy was repeatedly overlooked because he is part pit. Many people told him that he was such a handsome boy, but that was really the extent of things. Once we met Billy, we instantly knew that he was the pup for us. We had to sign for a 'trial adoption' but we already knew that we were going to commit to him for the long haul. So, on January 29, 2020 we brought the sweet boy home, and officially made him a Reeder

The 'yes' day

We went to Cincinnati to go see Christmas lights at Coney Island with co-maid of honor Kelly and groomsman Bobby. After we left the light display, everyone decided that getting a bite to eat was the next item on our agenda. So, we arrive at the Incline House which overlooks the city. At this point, I was still 100% convinced that we were just taking the scenic walk to a place to eat. That was, in fact, NOT the case. We all stood and looked out over the city and then Bobby began to record. I turned away from the view for about 2 seconds then David got on one knee and popped the question.
