Question
Which dates should I book my lodging for?
Answer
We ask that (at a minimum) you arrive Friday (8/13/21) and stay until Sunday (8/15/21), since the resort has a 2-night minimum stay and we will have wedding festivities on Friday night and Saturday. Lutsen and the North Shore are beautiful, so we would encourage you to extend your stay and make a long weekend out of it. For those that choose to arrive on Thursday (8/12/21), we will have an optional Happy Hour.

What are my lodging options?
Answer
We have a block of rooms reserved for our wedding guests at Lutsen Resort. To book your room, call the resort ((800) 218-8589)and ask for the Moat/Schuldt block of rooms. There are a variety of lodging options available, and the resort is able to accommodate any needs (pets, accessibility, etc.) If booking a cabin, townhome or condo with multiple bedrooms, we encourage you to go in on lodging with other friends/family.

What is the deadline for booking lodging?

Lodging needs to be booked by May 31st, 2021.
Question
I am unable to attend the whole weekend-- can I come for just Saturday or a portion of the weekend?
Answer
Yes! We would love to celebrate with you, for whatever part of our weekend you are available. Please note, however, that if you plan to stay at Lutsen Resort, they do have a two-night minimum stay requirement. You are also welcome to stay elsewhere, if you don't want to book at Lutsen Resort.

Besides attending wedding festivities, what else is there to do at the resort or nearby?
Answer
Check out our Things To Do tab-- there are so many fun activities, restaurants, a brewery and a winery all within a few miles of the resort.

What is your plan regarding COVID restrictions and precautions?
Answer
Lutsen Resort takes COVID seriously and is following all CDC guidelines. Because our wedding is outdoors and we have invited only 50 people, we are confident we will be able to get married as planned. If that should change, we will reach out with a new plan. Our first priority is keeping all our friends and family safe and we completely understand if you are not comfortable attending.
